Our occupational therapists will utilize the most current evaluation tools and clinical standards in determining the appropriate treatment for each child. We start by communicating directly with parents/guardians to determine the family’s goals and priorities. Then, through individualized evaluations, our therapists find solutions to help maximize independence and increase participation in daily activities, including self-care, learning and play.
Throughout treatment, our occupational therapists assist children to engage in playing and learning, building the skills and confidence to thrive in their own environments

Hand therapy provides rehabilitation to the entire upper limb, including the hand, wrist, arm, elbow, and shoulder.
A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is a licensed occupational therapist or physical therapist who has participated in advanced study and have worked more than 4,000 hours in treating the upper limb to be eligible to pass an exam that evaluates competency in all areas of upper limb therapy.
We are committed to providing more pediatric patients access to hand therapists in their communities, instead of having to travel long distances for specialty therapy.
